Can I start on Cloud and move to On-Premise later?

Yes. Both builds share the exact same codebase and data model, so moving from Cloud to On-Premise (or the other way around) doesn't mean re-learning the tool, just re-pointing where your data lives.

Does the On-Premise version include the Sai AI assistant?

It's optional. On-Premise ships as a Standard build with no AI at all, or an AI-enabled build that adds Sai using your own cloud account: your credentials, never ours. Everything else is identical.

Which trades does PermitSense support?

Roofing is the primary focus, plus HVAC, solar, plumbing, electrical, windows & doors, generators, gas systems, pools & enclosures, garage doors, irrigation, marine construction, and foundation/sinkhole work: 13 categories in total, each with its own priority-tier model.

Where does the permit data come from?

You upload it. PermitSense ingests the raw permit exports your county already publishes (CSV or Excel), classifies each record by trade, and scores properties into priority tiers. It doesn't scrape or resell third-party data.

If we're on Cloud and want to leave, what happens to our data?

You can export everything, including leads and permit history, to CSV or Excel at any time from inside the app. Nothing is locked in a format only we can read.

Is On-Premise really the same software, or a stripped-down version?

The same. The on-prem build runs from the identical application code (same routes, same UI, same features), packaged into a single Windows installer with a local database instead of a hosted one.
